Catania Cruise Port at “Nauta”: synergy, growth and new prospects for cruise tourism
During the boat show, Catania Cruise Port took part in an important round-table discussion focused on the future and development of the port of Catania.
The meeting, organised by the Port System Authority of the Eastern Sicilian Sea, served as a strategic forum where institutions, maritime operators and industry professionals shared common visions and objectives, with a clear focus: to strengthen the position of the Port of Catania within international tourism routes.
It is within this context that Catania Cruise Port makes its contribution, as an entity increasingly integrated into the port’s tourism ecosystem and a key player in a path of steady growth.
The Terminal Manager of Catania Cruise Port, Alessia Calì, emphasised the current state of the cruise sector at the Port of Catania, highlighting the results achieved and the prospects for development, and underlining how, through organisation, strategic vision and operational capability, Catania Cruise Port is consolidating its role within the local tourism ecosystem. These results are the fruit of essential dialogue and collaborative work with the Port System Authority and the entire maritime cluster centred around the cruise sector.
The dialogue between the various sector stakeholders has reaffirmed a key point: today more than ever, growth depends on collaboration, putting skills, services and infrastructure at the service of the region’s appeal, improving the passenger experience and generating new opportunities for the Port, the City and the maritime economy.
The picture is clear: thanks to the strategic vision of the President of the Port System Authority, Mr Di Sarcina, the Port of Catania is evolving and Catania Cruise Port is an active part of this change.
