Valiant Lady’s First visit to Catania

Catania Cruise Port welcomed, with great enthusiasm, the first call of the Valiant Lady, an elegant ship in the Virgin Voyages fleet, the star of a special event that enriches the 2026 cruise season at the port of Mount Etna.

As is tradition, the inaugural arrival was celebrated with the crest-exchange ceremony, a symbol of friendship, collaboration, and mutual welcome between the ship and the host port. Port and maritime authorities, along with representatives from Catania Cruise Port, took part in the ceremony to welcome the captain, crew and passengers of the Valiant Lady.

This first port of call marks a significant moment for Catania Cruise Port, confirming the destination’s appeal on the international cruise scene and offering the many passengers the opportunity to discover the city’s charm, its historical and cultural heritage, its culinary delights, and the extraordinary landscapes dominated by Mount Etna.
