An Upgrade to Catania Cruise Port
Catania Cruise Port confirms its goal of facilitating and enhancing the embarkation and disembarkation activities at its cruise terminal. The port has restored the interior of the facilities for the upcoming 2023 cruise season. The renovation includes new partnerships with retailers, with a focus on local products for the cruise passengers to be immediately immersed in the Sicilian way of life.
As proof of the quality of work carried out so far, Costa Cruises has once again chosen Catania as partial turnaround port and will be the main cruise line calling Catania Cruise Port in 2023.
Catania is known for its rich history and culture, with ancient architecture, lively markets, and a vibrant nightlife scene. The city is home to several UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the Baroque style city center, which features ornate churches, palaces, and public buildings. Visitors can also explore the Roman Amphitheater, the Roman Baths, and the Ursino Castle, dating back to the 13th century.
Catania Cruise Port, located near the city center, is equipped with all the necessary facilities to ensure a smooth disembarkation and embarkation process. The terminal has a large waiting area, cafes, and shops, as well as immigration and customs facilities. It serves as a gateway to many popular tourist destinations in Sicily, including Mount Etna, Taormina, and Syracuse.
