Costa Firenze Opens the 2021 Cruise Season with Catania Cruise Port

Catania Cruise Port will be welcoming Costa Firenze of Costa Cruises for its inaugural call.

The cruise ship which will arrive on July 7th will be opening the cruise season in Catania, as well as have its inaugural call, proving the importance of Catania as a destination.

Host to the famous erupting Mount Etna, Catania plays a key role in the Mediterranean itineraries. A cruisers’ paradise, it is an ideal destination for cruises through all seasons with its mild climate.

Catania Cruise Port, the gateway to the beautiful city, resumed its activities in 2020 adapting its terminal to the new operational needs required by the cruise industry by establishing strict anti-contagion protocols. Its Health & Safety protocols have been an enabler to many cruises to successfully operate in the city of Catania.

Starting in July, Catania Cruise Port will be fully operational with numerous calls including calls by Costa Cruises, as well as TUI Cruises arrivals.
